About Clausewitz in Africa - My personal Blog
I'm a first-year student at SSP, and received a grant to travel to France and West Africa this summer! I'll be spending time in Paris, then Senegal, Mali, and Cameroon.
My trip will first take me to Paris, Dakar, and Bamako to explore security cooperation policies. The last leg of my trip will have a different focus, as it will take me to off-grid villages in Cameroon where I will link up with the inspiring upOwa team that is providing solar energy generators to empower communities to plan for the future!
I'm staying with host families as much as possible, to get a better understanding of daily life. My blog, Clausewitz in Africa, offers observations about life in Dakar, Bamako, and Bafoussam. It won't focus on my research (despite the name), but offer tales of my adventures and experiences navigating large cities and rural communities in West Africa.
Check out my blog to keep up with what I am doing and hear more about my personal take on this adventure!
